A Perspective on Biblical Vision...

There is increase emphasis in today's contemporary church on vision. This is great, but the biblical relevance of prospering in the things of the Lord can be clouded by how vision is defined. The result can be a focus on the blessings more so than the One who blesses! When we looked at the prophets of old and how God gave revelation for purpose through vision, we discovered that real vision from God is seeing His purpose through His eyes. And vision from God always concerns God's people. Here at Disciples of Faith, we are focused on what God has revealed. We want to encourage you to not only find out what your church vision is, but get involved in it! Our Vision Statement...

To bring the prosperity of God's covenant promises and His kingdom to the life of His Christian covenant people whereby they are driven by their purpose in Jesus Christ to obtain and experience all that God has promised for them! The center also equips the congregation and partners of Disciples of Faith for the "work of the ministry" whether it is working in the nursery, media, or preparing for international missions.

To develop a people of purpose and destiny by making them disciples of Jesus Christ through the equipping and edification of God's Word in order that they may through the development of their faith live an abundant life and impact the lives of others with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
